Dr. Allon is an avid researcher in many aspects of infertility including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. We have recently been asked to participate in an endometriosis ongoing study and need volunteers. Please read the information below to determine if you meet the study guidelines. Much of the information below is copied from the study organizers Petals Study Web site, where you will need to go to apply.

" If you’re a woman age 18 to 49, have been diagnosed with endometriosis in the last eight years, and have possibly tried various treatments (including surgery), you’re invited to see if you may qualify for the Petal Study. The purpose of the research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the management of pelvic pain associated with endometriosis. Physicians in your area are currently conducting the study.

Each individual will be evaluated to determine her study participation eligibility. If you qualify, you’ll receive the investigational study medication, study-related medical exams, and lab tests at no charge. Financial compensation for time and travel may also be available."

We understand that information about your personal health is very private and we are extremely sensitive to your need for confidentiality. With your permission, the information you provide will be transferred to a physician’s office in your area that is conducting the Petal Study. If it seems that you may qualify for the study based on your responses to the questionnaire, a representative from the physician’s office in your area will contact you to further determine your interest and eligibility.
